1	以下是亞當後裔的族譜：當天主造人的時候，是按天主的肖像造的，	1	This is the book of the generation of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him to the likeness of God.
2	造了一男一女，且在造他們的那一天，祝福了他們，稱他們為「人」。	2	He created them male and female; and blessed them: and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3	亞當一百三十歲時，生了一個兒子，也像自己的模樣和肖像，給他起名叫舍特。	3	And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begot a son to his own image and likeness, and called his name Seth.
4	亞當生舍特後，還活了八百年，生了其他的兒女。	4	And the days of Adam, after he begot Seth, were eight hundred years: and he begot sons and daughters.
5	亞當共活了九百三十歲死了。	5	And all the time that Adam lived came to nine hundred and thirty years, and he died.
6	舍特一百零五歲時，生了厄諾士。	6	Seth also lived a hundred and five years, and begot Enos.
7	舍特生厄諾士後，還活了八百零七年，生了其他的兒女。	7	And Seth lived after he begot Enos, eight hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.
8	舍特共活了九百一十二歲死了。	8	And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years, and he died.
9	厄諾士九十歲時生了刻南。	9	And Enos lived ninety years, and begot Cainan.
10	厄諾士生刻南後，還活了八百一十五年，生了其他的兒女。	10	After whose birth he lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and begot sons and daughters.
11	厄諾士共活了九百零五歲死了。	11	And the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years, and he died.
12	刻南七十歲時，生了瑪拉肋耳。	12	And Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Malaleel.
13	刻南生瑪拉肋耳後，還活了八百四十年，生了其他的兒女。	13	And Cainan lived after he begot Malaleel, eight hundred forty years, and begot sons and daughters.
14	刻南共活了九百一十歲死了。	14	And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died.
15	瑪拉肋耳六十五歲時，生了耶勒得。	15	And Malaleel lived sixty-five years, and begot Jared.
16	瑪拉肋耳生耶勒得後，還活了八百三十年，生了其他的兒女。	16	And Malaleel lived after he begot Jared, eight hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.
17	瑪拉肋耳共活了八百九十五歲死了。	17	And all the days of Malaleel were eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he died.
18	耶勒得一百六十二歲時，生了哈諾客。	18	And Jared lived a hundred and sixty-two years, and begot Henoch.
19	耶勒得生哈諾客後。還活了八百年，生了其他的兒女。	19	And Jared lived after he begot Henoch, eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
20	耶勒得共活了九百六十二歲死了。	20	And all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he died.
21	哈諾客六十五歲時，生了默突舍拉。	21	And Henoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Mathusala.
22	哈諾客常與天主往來。哈諾客生默突舍拉後，還活了三百年，生了其他的兒女。	22	And Henoch walked with God: and lived after he begot Mathusala, three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
23	哈諾客共活了三百六十五歲。	23	And all the days of Henoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.
24	哈諾客時與天主往來，然後就不見了，因為天主將他提去。	24	And he walked with God, and was seen no more: because God took him.
25	默突舍拉一百八十七歲時，生了拉默客。	25	And Mathusala lived a hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech.
26	默突舍拉生了拉默客後，還活了七百八十二年，生了其他的兒女。	26	And Mathusala lived after he begot Lamech, seven hundred and eighty-two years, and begot sons and daughters.
27	默突舍拉共活了九百六十九歲死了。	27	And all the days of Mathusala were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.
28	拉默客一百八十二歲時，生了一個兒子，	28	And Lamech lived a hundred and eighty-two years, and begot a son.
29	給他起名叫諾厄說：「這孩子要使我們在上主詛咒的地上，在我們做的工作和勞苦上，獲得欣慰！」	29	And he called his name Noe, saying: This same shall comfort us from the works and labours of our hands on the earth which the Lord hath cursed.
30	拉默客生諾厄後，還活了五百九十五年，生了其他的兒女。	30	And Lamech lived after he begot Noe, five hundred and ninety-five years, and he begot sons and daughters.
31	拉默客共活了七百七十七歲死了。	31	And all the days of Lamech came to seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and he died. And Noe, when he was five hundred years old, begot Sem, Cham, and Japheth.
32	諾厄五百歲時，生了閃、含和耶斐特。	32
