| 1 | 義人，你們應向上主踴躍歡呼，因為正直的人，理應讚美上主。 | 1 | For David, when he changed his countenance before Achimelech, who dismissed him, and he went his way. [1 Kings 21.] |
| 2 | 你們該彈琴，稱謝上主，彈奏十絃琴，讚頌上主。 | 2 | I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall be always in my mouth. |
| 3 | 你們應向他高唱新歌，在歡呼聲中奏琴吟哦， | 3 | In the Lord shall my soul be praised: let the meek hear and rejoice. |
| 4 | 因為上主的言語是正直的，他的一切作為都是忠實的； | 4 | O magnify the Lord with me; and let us extol his name together. |
| 5 | 他愛護正義和公理，他的慈愛瀰漫大地。 | 5 | I sought the Lord, and he heard me; and he delivered me from all my troubles. |
| 6 | 因天主的一句話，諸天造成；因上主的一口氣，萬象生成。 | 6 | Come ye to him and be enlightened: and your faces shall not be confounded. |
| 7 | 他把海水好似聚於皮囊，他將汪洋好似貯於池塘。 | 7 | This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him: and saved him out of all his troubles. |
| 8 | 願整個大地敬畏上主，願普世居民畏懼上主， | 8 | The angel of the Lord shall encamp round about them that fear him: and shall deliver them. |
| 9 | 因為他一發言，萬有造成，他一出命，各物生成。 | 9 | O taste, and see that the Lord is sweet: blessed is the man that hopeth in him. |
| 10 | 上主使異邦的計劃無緒，使萬民的策略廢去。 | 10 | Fear the Lord, all ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. |
| 11 | 上主的計劃卻永恒不變，他心中的謀略萬世常傳。 | 11 | The rich have wanted, and have suffered hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not be deprived of any good. |
| 12 | 尊上主為自己天主的民族，真是有福！上主選為自己產業的百姓，真是有福！ | 12 | Come, children, hearken to me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord. |
| 13 | 上主由高天監臨，注視亞當的子孫； | 13 | Who is the man that desireth life: who loveth to see good days? |
| 14 | 他由自己的居處，視察大地的眾庶： | 14 | Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. |
| 15 | 他既創造了眾人的心靈，當然知曉人的一切言行。 | 15 | Turn away from evil and do good: seek after peace and pursue it. |
| 16 | 帝王不是因兵多而取勝，勇士不是因力大而保命。 | 16 | The eyes of the Lord are upon the just: and his ears unto their prayers. |
| 17 | 為獲勝利，駿馬仍是徒然，氣力雖大，依舊難獲安全。 | 17 | But the countenance of the Lord is against them that do evil things: to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. |
| 18 | 請看，上主的眼睛常關注敬畏他的人，他的雙目常眷顧靠他仁慈的人， | 18 | The just cried, and the Lord heard them: and delivered them out of all their troubles. |
| 19 | 為使他們的性命，脫免死亡，使他們在饑饉時，生活如常。 | 19 | The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a contrite heart: and he will save the humble of spirit. |
| 20 | 我們的靈魂仰望著上主，他是我們的保障和扶助； | 20 | Many are the afflictions of the just; but out of them all will the Lord deliver them. |
| 21 | 我們的心靈要因他而喜樂歡暢，在他的聖名內寄托我們的希望。 | 21 | The Lord keepeth all their bones, not one of them shall be broken. |
| 22 | 上主，求你向我們廣施慈愛，有如我們對你所存的期待。 | 22 | The death of the wicked is very evil: and they that hate the just shall be guilty. |
| 23 | 23 | The Lord will redeem the souls of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall offend. | |
