| 2 | 愚妄的人心中說：「沒有天主，」他們都喪盡天良，恣意作惡。行善的人實在找不到一個。 | 2 | When the men of Ziph had come and said to Saul: Is not David hidden with us? |
| 3 | 天主由高天俯視世人的子孫，察看有無尋覓天主的明智人， | 3 | Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me in thy strength. |
| 4 | 人人都離棄了正道，趨向邪惡，沒有一人行善，實在沒有一個。 | 4 | O God, hear my prayer: give ear to the words of my mouth. |
| 5 | 那些作奸犯科的人，吞我民如食饅頭；總不呼號天主的人，豈不是愚蠢糊塗？ | 5 | For strangers have risen up against me; and the mighty have sought after my soul: and they have not set God before their eyes. |
| 6 | 在不應驚慌之處，他們反倒驚惶發呆，因為天主分散了那圍攻你者的骨骸，他們必將蒙羞，因天主已把他們棄捨。 | 6 | For behold God is my helper: and the Lord is the protector of my soul. |
| 7 | 唯願以色列人的救援來自聖熙雍！一旦天主將自己民族的命運變更，雅各伯必將喜慶，以色列必將歡騰。 | 7 | Turn back the evils upon my enemies; and cut them off in thy truth. |
