| 2 | 上主，我們的主！你的名號在普世何其美妙！你的尊榮在天上彰顯光耀。 | 2 | O Lord our Lord, how admirable is thy name in the whole earth! For thy magnificence is elevated above the heavens. |
| 3 | 由赤子乳兒的口中，你取得完美的讚頌；為使恨你的人受辱，為使仇敵有口無用。 | 3 | Out of the mouth of infants and of sucklings thou hast perfected praise, because of thy enemies, that thou mayst destroy the enemy and the avenger. |
| 4 | 當我抑觀你手指創造的穹蒼，和你在天上佈置的星辰月亮， | 4 | For I will behold thy heavens, the works of thy fingers: the moon and the stars which thou hast founded. |
| 5 | 世人算什麼，你竟對他懷念不忘﹖人子算什麼，你竟對他眷顧周詳﹖ | 5 | What is man that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest hi? |
| 6 | 竟使他稍微遜於天神，以尊貴光榮作他冠冕， | 6 | Thou hast made him a little less than the angels, thou hast crowned him with glory and honour: |
| 7 | 令他統治你手的造化，將一切放在他的腳下： | 7 | and hast set him over the works of thy hands. |
| 8 | 所有的羊和牛，與野外的走獸， | 8 | Thou hast subjected all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen: moreover the beasts also of the fields. |
| 9 | 天空的飛鳥和海裡的魚類，及種種游泳於海道的水族。 | 9 | The birds of the air, and the fishes of the sea, that pass through the paths of the sea. |
